ABOUT US
Company Profile
Rotorua Electrical Services Ltd was incorporated in 2001 and started life as a labour only contracting company. Twelve months later Michael and Catherine Dent bought the Electrical Division of Reporoa Engineering and launched Reporoa Electrical Services Ltd a division of Rotorua Electrical Services.
From small beginnings the company has grown from one tradesman and one apprentice to where we are today, four tradesmen and one apprentice (our third).
We believe our company has grown because we uphold strong business ethics and by aligning ourselves with others who have similar beliefs we believe we will grow further, both personally and as a company.
We have found our best tool to be our ears. As we listen to what the customer wants/needs and using my twenty plus personal years experience and the knowledge of our suppliers and supporters, we are able to deliver the best solution.
Here at Rotorua Electrical we focus strongly on ongoing training, keeping up with the latest trends both electrical and safety.
Experience and Expertise
Based around four tradesmen, one apprentice and office and support staff we are utilising a combined electrical knowledge in excess of 50 years within the company.
Covering a wide and varied skill base we are capable and willing to take on small to medium sized jobs, ongoing maintenance to installation work in homes, hotels, motels, schools, C-Bus controls, commercial and industrial buildings, workshops and cowsheds including water schemes, irrigation systems, and effluent disposal. We are also open to looking at different work, enjoying the challenge which others may not be quite keen not to take on.
Eco Smart electricians
We have recently become accredited Eco Smart electricians and as such are able to provide a site survey and written report on business, buildings from homes upwards and give them guidance on ways to conserve energy and or use it more efficiently. (Sustainability)
Broad and Extensive Knowledge
We have a very strong base of knowledge of the electrical needs of dairy farming and associated support structure and have found that this allows us to cross over easily into the small industrial area, working with people/plant in the food/materials processing areas.
Company Alliances
We have aligned ourselves with companies such as Danfoss one of the world’s leading manufacturers of VSDs and as such can access their knowledge of motor control for both energy conservation and flexibility of use.
Another company with which we have close ties is Clipsal Integrated Systems especially their C-Bus building/home automation hardware which is world leading in flexibility and control.
CMG Rotorua, an international electrical motors company, with a base in Rotorua with whom we have close ties, enables us to source high quality, high efficiency motors at short notice for breakdowns and new works.
